Renowned for world-class cloth, including the finest flannel and high-quality tweed, Fox Brothers creates fabrics suitable for every occasion and climate, from London to Buenos Aires. Established in 1772, Fox Brothers & Co Ltd has been a stalwart in producing woollen and worsted fabrics for over three centuries. As the original creators of flannel, Fox boasts a rich pattern archive dating back to its foundation and takes pride in manufacturing cloth entirely in England since the 18th century.
Hybrid infrastructure for scalable operations
For over 15 years, PCN has provided Fox Brothers & Co with robust IT support and services tailored to their evolving needs.
Initially, we consolidated their infrastructure by migrating from multiple aging servers to a single onsite virtualised server, optimising speed and functionality crucial for their operations. More recently, we initiated a migration to a hybrid IT environment, integrating Microsoft Intune and Entra with their existing onsite servers. This setup supports critical systems including their CRM, Sage 50 & 200, as well as specialised applications for dispatch and shipping.
Additionally, when Fox Brothers relocated to new premises across the road from their old warehouse, PCN designed, installed, and maintains a sophisticated network and WiFi system spanning four buildings across two floors. This comprehensive solution includes a multi-door entry system and site-wide WiFi coverage, ensuring seamless connectivity and security throughout their expanded facilities. These efforts have empowered Fox Brothers to enhance operational efficiency, scalability, and security as they continue to innovate and grow in the textile industry.
