Ensuring seamless communication, data security, and operational efficiency across these varied locations presented a significant challenge that needed to be addressed to support their nationwide operations effectively.
Water supply engineering with a national presence
Hydrotech Water Services are specialists engaged in all aspects of water supply engineering, from large diameter mains laying to domestic plumbing, and including engineering consultancy services with a particular focus on regulatory reporting.
Employing staff throughout England and Wales, we ensure a national operational presence with our head office in Taunton and satellite yards in Launceston, Plymouth, Southampton, Devizes, Coleford, and Newport Pagnell.
Secure flexible working and unified communications
To address Hydrotech's IT challenges, we designed their system from the ground up with security as a paramount concern, utilising Microsoft 365 technology to provide both flexible working and maximum security.
Remote workers are enrolled in Microsoft Intune, allowing for maximum control and strict compliance policies to ensure all company data remains safe and secure. Within the office environment, we deployed Windows 365 VDI desktops, enabling flexible working arrangements.
Additionally, we implemented a full cloud PBX solution powered by 3CX, allowing Hydrotech to efficiently manage call volumes and ensure that customers, suppliers, and contractors connect with the right team on the first try. This solution provides team members, whether working from the office, home, or on the road, with total unified communications, ensuring Hydrotech operates at maximum efficiency regardless of location.
